Day 1 – London:
Make your way to the hotel. The remainder of the day is at your leisure. Overnight in London.
Day 2 – London:
Breakfast at leisure then make your way to Victoria Coach station to join a full day sightseeing tour. Today you will enjoy a full day tour of London. See Westminster Abbey, the Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace and enjoy guided tours of St Paul's Cathedral and the Tower of London. Includes entrance to St Paul's Cathedral and the Tower of London, and a Thames River Cruise.
Day 3 – Day at leisure
After breakfast at the hotel spend the day at leisure or visiting attractions such as London Eye, Madame Tussauds. Overnight in London.
Day 4 - Windsor Castle, Stonehenge & Bath Tour:
Early breakfast then make your way to Victoria Coach station to join a full day Windsor Castle, Stonehenge and Roman Baths. A fascinating day out from London to three of our national treasures, Windsor Castle, Stonehenge and Georgian Bath. Includes entrance to Windsor Castle, Stonehenge and the Roman Baths. Overnight in London.
Day 5 – London to Edinburgh:
After breakfast make your way to Kings Cross Station for your train journey to Scotland and the capital city – Edinburgh!
The direct journey takes approximately 5 hours so sit back and enjoy the scenery of northern England and the Scottish borders. The rest of your day is at your leisure. Overnight in Edinburgh.
Day 5 – Edinburgh the Capital of Scotland:
Early breakfast then meet your driver guide for a half day City Tour. The tour will finish at 1pm where you will get a chance to have some lunch before making your way to Edinburgh Castle with your vouchers.
Edinburgh Castle dominates Scotland's capital city from its great rock. Its story has helped shape the nation's story.
Battles and sieges were fought over it, royalty lived and died within its walls, and countless generations have been and inspired by it. This is one of the greatest castles in the United Kingdom.
Day 7 – Loch Ness, Glencoe & Highlands Day Tour:
After an early breakfast make your way to the pick-up point for your shared 1 day tour. Your tour passes through magnificent Glencoe, scene of the clan massacre of the MacDonalds by the Campbells in 1692, and on through Fort William, the beginning of the “Great Glen” and the Caledonian Canal, which you follow up to Fort Augustus, nestling on the banks of Loch Ness.
Here you can enjoy your lunch, a boat trip (Easter to December - subject to availability) or take a wander along the lochside with spectacular views of the loch. From here you return south to Edinburgh via “Monarch of the Glen” country and Highland Perthshire. (Entrances NOT included). Overnight in Edinburgh.
Day 8 – Loch Lomond National Park and Stirling Castle Day Tour:
After an early breakfast make your way to the pick-up point for your full day tour. Experience the Highlands’ natural forests, lochs & mountains and feel Scotland’s past in the heartland of its greatest heroes.
You travel to Stirling Castle, where you can visit this imposing stronghold, the favourite residence of the Stuart kings, where Mary Queen of Scots was crowned. You then continue into the beautiful forest-covered hills of the Trossachs and stop for lunch in the heart of the National Park. From here you travel along the scenic road to the “bonny, bonny banks” of Loch Lomond.
Here you will get a great view of the loch; you can have refreshments at the local inn or walk in the footsteps of Rob Roy taking in the nature, tranquillity and spectacular views found on the eastern shores of Loch Lomond. From Loch Lomond you return to Edinburgh in the late afternoon. (Entrances NOT included). Overnight in Edinburgh.
Day 9 – Departure
Breakfast then spend the rest of the time you have in Edinburgh before returning to your hotel to collect your luggage and make your way to the Airport.
